Oluce Medusa Table Lamp

Andrea Quaglio and Manuela Simonelli , professional Quaglio-Simonelli , who have effectively focused on furniture design and other items, have designed the Medusa for Oluce, a glass table lamp, created based on the elementary principle of closing a metal dome in a cylinder . The dome contains the light source and the glass cylinder subtly spreads the light on the supporting surface of the lamp.

The Oluce Medusa reverses the relationship between support and lampshade. The support does not support the lampshade, but contains it. The dome, in which the light source is distributed, is made impossible in the cylinder by an elegant fold of glass that allows an explicit and preferential cleanliness. The electrical cable completes the design, running freely from the center of the diffuser downwards and appearing to wave due to reflections, giving the lamp a feeling of lightness. Formal neatness for a soft and warm light.

The Oluce Medusa table lamp is available in three color variants: lacquered black, satin gold and red.
